Baunscheidtism
Baunscheidtism is a detox treatment method developed by Carl Baunscheidt in 1848. He constructed a needle instrument, which he called the 'Lebenswecker', which translates as 'Life awakener', and developed a skin-irritating oil mixture.
Baunscheitism involves inserting the Lebenswecker needles into the skin at a depth of 1 to 2 mm, thereby creating a stimulus. Subsequently, the skin is rubbed with the skin irritating oil, artificially generating a papulopustular rash. The circulation in the affected area is strenghtened, the metabolism is stimulated and toxins are removed. This form of treatment also strengthens the immune system and activates the body's self-healing processes.
